After selling 70 bajillion copies of Modern Warfare 2 in a day, Infinity Ward has heard it from all gamers. After playing through Call of Duty: World at War on Veteran, Modern Warfare 2 seems like a walk in the park. Simply put, Veteran just isn’t hard enough, I mean, if I’m not walking into a wall of grenades at every turn, what’s the point, right?
Analysts and gamer’s alike have constantly discussed the eventuality of Nintendo releasing an HD enabled console. With the unparalleled success of the Wii, it’s pretty much a given that they simply could take the existing Wii model, give it the ability to pump out HD video and put a little more oomph under the hood while they kicked back to watch the “money printing” continue for several more years. This all sounds great except for one thing… Reggie from Nintendo says they’re not working on an HD Wii at all. Wait, that may be a little misleading… (more…)
Halo Reach. Perhaps the last Bungie-made Halo game ever. Our last, best hope at a coherent narrative. Whatever your take on the next Halo game, very little is known about the game. Is it a squad based shooter? Is it something altogether different?
I don’t know, but I’ve got seven screen caps of it, after the jump.

That’s right bitches we finally got one right! The Defibrillator has been confirmed in L4D2. Sarcastic Gamer had it first about a month before the big boys, Kotaku and Joystiq. We out rumored Kotaku? Aw hell yeah, next thing you know, we’ll start posting pictures of gaming inspired pumpkins and cakes.
Halo Reach is the next and supposedly last Halo game made by Bungie. Slated for next fall, this Halo tale, if Wikipedia serves me well, should feature or at least end with the Fall of Reach and feature some massive battles filled with more than just one Spartan. This fact alone has the fanboys in a tizzy, even while their blood lust for anything Halo is currently being satiated by Halo 3: ODST.
Not a whole heck of a lot is known about the final Halo game from Bungie, but I’ve got a juicy nugget and I think it’s gold. Find out everything you need to know about Halo Reach, after the jump.
Episode 70 of the Blu Show is here. This week the guys discuss all things PSP Go, Pacman has a thing or two to say about Gran Turismo PSP and we discuss the big PlayStation Home 1.3 update. All this, Roomahs, and more on Episode 68 of the Sarcastic Gamer PlayStation Podcast.

It’s amazing. Sometimes serendipity descends onto video game land and a bunch of the same games come out at almost the same time. In May and June we had three open world games come out that were very similar in Infamous, Prototype and Red Faction: Guerilla. This fall, two brothers from another mother were released within weeks of each other. Halo 3: ODST and Wolfenstein. They are the same game, yet one is the media darling and the other has been relegated to second class status. Can you guess which one is which?
Just days after the announcement of the Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition 360, rumors have been spreading high and low about the 250 GB hard drive that will come with the console. We at Sarcastic Gamer hate that. What good is a rumor if it’s not backed up by the company denying it? Well fear no more! After days of stalking attempting to contact someone at Microsoft, we finally got an interview with none other than Major Nelson himself. Join me after the jump.
Guitar Hero 5 is getting a lot of great press around the ole Internets since it spawned about a week ago. Word has it that dead rocker, Kurt Cobain, is even playable. No word yet on whether or not the shotgun mini game can be turned on ones self, but it wouldn’t surprise me, especially after Activision’s recent proclamations regarding dead musician’s likenesses.
I received a hot little rumor while walking the PAX grounds on Sunday. A friend had been playing Left 4 Dead 2 on the floor when his screen froze. He wasn’t being helped, or monitored, and he discovered a new weapon that has not yet been revealed…
Find out what it is and how it’s going to change the way you play Left 4 Dead 2, after the jump.
