(SYDNEY - SG) Earlier today, a Quantas flight enroute from Hong Kong to Melbourne was forced to make an emergency landing in the Phillipines after substantial portion of its outer skin peeled off mid-flight. The cabin immediately depressurized and oxygen masks dropped from the cieling, sending several passengers into a controlled panic. Sad smiley face. Nintendo had the chance to blow our mind with some genuinely interesting developments for the Wii but for the past hour all they’ve done is reveal disappointment upon disappointment.

Next Generation is reporting that Nintendo have confirmed an add-on for the Wii Remote, titled the Wii MotionPlus. The MotionPlus is said to promise more accurate movements (1:1 response when compared to a user’s input).
Some huge news has surfaced over at N4G to do with the rumours of Microsoft’s own answer to the Wii Remote, pretty much confirming that yes, there’s a controller to be announced at E3 and you know what to expect.
