While Previously on Sarcastic Gamer serves as a platform for me to expound my hilarious views on the gaming industry (and they are hilarious), it is also a service, a utility is you will, that can transmit public service announcements to your mind…telepathically. So, with that in mind, I would like to alert you to the latest developments with regards to the PSG 100 celebrations. There will be a competition.
Watch that video and tell me you didn’t want to dance! Go on, hand on heart, tell me you didn’t even have the slightest inkling of wanting to jump up, wave your hands and generally act like a derranged unicorn. It’s impossible I tells ya! In fact, I bet that two fifths of the people that read this post, just jumped up and started dancing. My surveys indicate, that that would be two people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111111111111111111eleventyoneeleventyone!!!!!!!!
What does a ROFLCOPTER do? SOISOISOISOISOISOISOISOI!
*Ahem*.
Just a quick update on PSG 100 (the momentous occassion where the world celebrates 100 editions of this glorious feature). This is the 70th edition, so we’ve got about a month left. We’re gonna have contests, videos and songs galore. Spread the word people! Spread it, like peanut butter on pumpernickel bread! You know you want to!
Another mind bending puzzle compendium for this edition of PSG, with a total of 2 questions. Wanna play? Of course you do!
1. Fill in the blank with a word you think is the most appropriate:
“Dum de dum de dum, I do love Tuesdays! In fact, I’d go as far as saying their my favourite day of the week. If I only I had a [What word goes here?] to make it even better.
2. A man digs a hole, then refills it. It takes him 3 hours in total. However, then 3 workmen come and dig 6 holes yet only fill 2, except one of the holes is filled in with a spade, and the other 2 are filled in by a truck carrying a soil which has an iron silt deposit in its sub layer. If, I use a soil without an iron silt deposit, and dig a hole with a spade, how many ducks can I fit in a trombone?
“Gosh!” you proclaim as you glance over the whimsical title of this post, “how cleverly the author has dated this piece”. Yes, it’s another one of those cross-over PSG editions, where posts from two different months are brought together in one contented bundle of links. Shocking, I know, but we here at PSG HQ (it’s a patch of dirt with a flimsy cloth roof…except there’s no flimsy cloth roof) have to strive for excellence whatever the cost. On another note, I have a puzzle for you. Fill in the missing word with whatever you think is most appropriate:
After spooning a small amount of avocado into a storage container, I was shocked to see a [What word goes here?] in the doorway.
It’s Halloween! It’s Previously on Sarcastic Gamer! It’s…it’s…oh I don’t know what it is. While the video above really is terrifying, I found something even more scary, something so hideously frightening that I doubt you’ll ever sleep again. You’ll tremble beneath your sheets, scream at the slightest movement and sleep with the lights on. Be bold, click here and prepare to be absolutely petrified…if you dare.
Also, thanks to egg65 for the video! Eggs65, know it’s not the exact video you sent, but this one was more Halloween themed. Sowwy.
On another note, I have decided on the PSG 100 song, but feel free to keep sending me links to videos I can post, songs to which I can listen and love notes which I can read.
Yesterday, one of our many astute readers, on this occasion Theminipanda, posted a comment saying:
“Ummm im new so these are a little weird to me but what does it have to do with gaming?”
An excellent question, Theminipanda! I think it’s important that every once in a while I stop with the silly videos, egregious jokes and pathetic paragraphs, and take a few minutes to explain what the hell this daily feature is.
Previously on Sarcastic Gamer is my pride and joy, my baby if you will. Every day of the working week, I post links to all the articles of the previous day, just so anyone who missed a day can catch up on all the hot content we provide. It’s a free service, and I hope you new comers like it as much as everyone else here.
Thanks for all the song recommendations by the way, keep ‘em coming!
