After the hoopla created when Cliffy B swore off his god given name, Cliffy B, and changed it to a much more formal Cliff Bleszinski, the world has waited with baited breath as to what this wordsmith would do next.
Well, he did it again. What did he change his name to this time? Puffy? P Biddy? Biddy? You’ll be surprised and amazed, after the jump.

With all the hype surrounding this year’s biggest releases, from Fallout 3 to Dead Space, I thought I’d ask the Sarcastic Gamer Crew what they’re looking forward to this Holiday Season.
Doc’s desperate plea, Dave’s indecision, a surprise pick from Yousty and a not so surprising pick from Frawlz, after the jump.
Well, finally. Something substantial from Bungie. Looks like we’ve got a brand new campaign with a new hero and a brand new game that’s tied to the Haloverse. Halo Jesus! Praise be it’s name!
When is it coming out? Check out the trailer for yourself, after the jump.
The guys over at Pwnordie.com have some really great videos up there. Fresh off of the VP debate, they created a great parody of the infamous “All your base belong to us” with a bit of Obama and Sarah Palin for good measure.
I can’t stop playing Too Human. I’ve completed the story and leveled a character or two to level 50, but I’ve found an entirely different game after level 50 has been reached. Alternate armor, elite drops, Charm quests, there’s just so much more to be done once you’ve completed the story. I’ve found some great stuff to keep you going and I’ve got a few tips to help you get those elite items.
We’ve got our hands on something big at E for All. Truth N Justice just received an exclusive COG tag by some kind folks at the E for All Convention in Los Angeles. Our trusted hobbit, ALSO scored us a code for the Gears of War site for some never-before-seen Gears of War 2 info.
It’s huge. And after the jump, I’ve posted the code for everybody. Enjoy.
As the 18th fast approaches, there’s a few points of order to take care of. First, have I stocked the appropriate amount of adult diapers to get me through the 24 hour period. Second, what the heck am I going to be playing for 24 straight hours?
Editor’s Note: SGC member Blackflash was kind enough to share his LBP beta impressions with the rest of us puny mortals that have yet to get a Beta key. Read on.
Ever since GDC 2007, Little Big Planet has been one of those games that people have been keeping their eyes on and already as of today the game is only 22 days away from our hands, and recently Beta codes for the game have been dropping from all over the net, many sites have been given at least 2000 beta keys to give out to gamers out there, and I was a lucky one to get mine from Game Informer for being a subscriber to their online newsletter.
I don’t really care much for writing reviews. Unless it’s something that I’ve played that was particularly inspiring, or on the other hand complete garbage, I usually don’t muster up the ole typing fingers to put the proverbial pen to paper and write a full review. In this case, I’ll make an exception for Harmonix’s Rock Band 2 wireless guitar.
Is it shite like the original Rock Band guitar, or a step forward for the franchise’s fake plastic toys? Find out, after the jump.
Peter Molyneux is an interesting fellow. He’s made some great games and some “great-in-his-own-mind” games. The only question this holiday season for gamers: Is Fable 2 going to be the former, or the latter?
If you ask Peter Molyneux, everyone he knows loves the game. Check out who’s played it and loved it, after the jump.
Doc, Dave and I interviewed Gordon Van Dyke, Associate Producer for DICE’s Battlefield: Bad Company today. In our interview, that will be featured in Episode 56 of the Sarcastic Gamer Podcast, Van Dyke told us that there were some technical limitations on expanding team chat to include proximity chat, or in-vehicle chat between gamers that weren’t on the same team and that there were no plans on expanding communitcation between the four player teams at this time.
Bummer. What else did Van Dyke reveal? After the jump!
Well, last year around this time we were getting some fantastic video game releases. Bioshock and Metroid made waves in August, while the Japanese went crazy for Monster Hunter Freedom 2 and the rest of us went crazy for the mega-blockbuster Halo 3 in September of 2007. We also received several B-List games in August and September that were pretty good, including games like Skate and Warhawk for the PS3.
How does this season’s August and September games compare? Find out after the jump.
