PWN cancer with Mad Catz and The Who

It’s safe to say that SarcasticGamer.com is a big fan of kicking cancer’s ass, especially if it’s affecting the lives of those a lot younger than most of us, which is why to read about something like this is such great news.

The Superbowl’s coming up, as most of you already know. The Who are performing at half-time. A special medley recording of this performance, attractively titled The Who Super Bowl S-mashup, is coming to Rock Band 2 for the usual price of $1.99.

What with the Who/Rock Band collaboration going on (and not for the first time; after all, The Who performed at E3 2008 to promote their exclusive Rock Band best-of album) it seems Mad Catz has cornered them too at the same time, and all for a good cause. The Who lead singer Roger Daltrey has teamed up with the accessories company and signed two of their Fender Stratocaster Xbox 360 replica controllers.

Those controllers are on eBay now, being auctioned off for the Teenage Cancer Trust. If you’ve got some deep pockets, you can stick a bid in – guitar one and guitar two are both sitting at $300 but the chances are this will have skyrocketed before long. If you have money to spare, then dig in; it’s all for the kids!
