Glitch, exploit, cheat, etc., these dirty tricks have many names. There’s always one guy who figures out how to do something completely messed up in a video game. Flying out of a Map in Halo 3, getting under a map in World at War, etc, there’s always one asshole that messes things up for the rest of us.
Modern Warfare 2 is no exception. After the jump, I’ll show you the top three exploits that players use in Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer and how to get them banned.
Much thanks to SGC member Kickimanjaro for the intel.
The first exploit is the famed “Javelin Glitch” that was recently published across the Internets, which will (hopefully) go bye bye with a forthcoming patch. In the meantime, here’s how it works:
Dickhead A switches to his Javelin (or any other secondary launcher, but Javelin works best), then holds RB (you must have the Semtex grenade equipped). While still holding the Semtex, press Y to switch back to your Javelin. Now you have a super-martyrdom. When someone kills you, you will blow the ever lovin’ crap out of them and anyone within a 50 foot radius. Thanks A-hole.
Here’s a video of how it works:
Next up, is the care package cloning trick that will allow you to get an infinite amount of care pacakage or emergency air drops. Here’s how you do it:
Dickhead A gets a care package, swap out weapons with a weapon on the ground, stab mid swap. After you’ve done that you’ll hear a click. Then you’re ready to go. Throw a special grenade, then throw the care package grenade, rinse and repeat. Nice job A-hole.
Here’s a video of how it works:
Check out the third exploit on page 2… IF YOU DARE!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The super-speed one actually looks pretty fun, lol. I’m sure it’s a pain in the ass playing against someone doing that, but I can’t say I wouldn’t give it a try at least once.
Really!? your probally going to say most people already know these but YOU DON’T HAVE TO MAKE AN ARTICLE SHOWING EVERYONE! WTF I thought you were aganist glichers(cheaters ect…) why did you have to make this article?
um these are getting fixed in the patch 1.06 this article means nothing
Then this article is even more pointless
So people know what to look for and when it happens who to send the complaints to…
Who knows when the patch will come out?
Showing people how to do the glitches isn’t how you show people what to look for
The super-speed isn’t goin to be patch and it is not an exploit of a glitch it is just an exploit of game mechanics that were put in there to allow people to get away and use the care package…. not nearly as bad as the javelin or infinent t care package glitch …. just take the speedy guys down with a noobtube
I would argue that the only one that is an exploit of a glitch is the cloning of the care packages. The other two are exploits of the game mechanics.
i dont understand why riot shield reflects bazooka, i tried to do the same in mgs4 and it didnt work
Ok, super speed should not be included on this list. It’s not super speed, he’s carrying a very small thing, thus, more mobility. Dur. Imagine this: What if you COULDN’T knife when you had a care package? How much bitching would that get? Why wouldn’t you be able to get to your knife, you’re barely holding anything!
Oh, and thanks for showing me the infinite care package glitch, didn’t know about that one or see anybody using it yet.
Way to go, Lono.
Wow.. I quit mid-game last week when i saw a player running like the road-runner knifing everyone. I called him a cheat now i know how that bum did it. Thanks for the heads-up on the speed glitch.

This is stupid. Media educating retards how to exploit. It’s like when the US gets some new technology for Warfare and then the media reports it… like no one is listening.
Fail f**king fail.
