Okay, my attempt to get someone to stop TheStonedSheep and his reign of terror across the Sarcastic Gamer first person shooter arena failed.  He managed to take down two more victims this week, still remaining undefeated by crushing all challengers.

So, I have to get more creative.  Let’s get some team based action going on, let’s group up and take him down!  I don’t know if this game is going to work for multiplayer or heads-up, but we’ll put it out there and see what kind of creativity we get from the combatants.

UPDATED RULES (PAY ATTENTION, RULE CHANGES!):
1) Each week, look for the thread in the Official Sarcastic Gamer Gamenights forum for the stickied Duelist League thread (link here).

2) Post in the thread the list of games you have that you are willing to duel against someone with. This can be any game at all. Magic The Gathering on XBLA to Madden 10 to Peggle. Doesn’t matter.

3) Find someone with a game that you have and pick a fight with another forum member. There is no limit to the number of matches you can engage in during the week.

4) All combatants start at 100 experience points. Both players agree to a wager on how many points they are playing for. Max wager is 25 points, and you cannot go below 5 points (so someone can work their way back up if they are knocked out). Not only will win/loss be registered, but the experience point tally will be kept as well.

5) If you are playing a match using the chosen game of the week (in this case, Modern Warfare 2), you get double the experience for a win.

6) The results of the match are posted on the thread.

7) Okay, here’s the big news:

Duelist League will continue until the end of the year.

Prizes!

First place: Collectors Edition of Fairytale Fights (PS3 or 360)
Second place: Darkest of Days (360) (well, you can always trade it in for credit)
Third place: Your choice of a variety of swag t-shirts picked up from PAX (unworn…yes, you’re welcome).
