Forza 3 is out, and it is brilliant. So, here I am trying my best to pull everything together for a racing league, and I’m having trouble figuring out how to tell you about all that we are trying to do. Hmmmm.

Well, If I were asking Doc to do a parody video about the Sarcastic Gamer Racing League, it might go something like this…

“Imagine a world where multiplayer was only the beginning… where community members were given the opportunity to make a fool of themselves, on and off the track… where podcasts pretended to be interested in how you did in Friday night’s race… where the logos on your car where walking a thin line between funny and inappropriate… where even people who didn’t like racing “for realzies” where bombarded with chatter from the dozen + rabid racing fans in the Sarcastic Gamer community…”

And who can resist Doc’s sultry (Mandark) voice? I’m sure the 6 spots we have left would fill in a matter of seconds.

So here’s the deal. In January, 24 drivers (hopefully) will embark on a 12 week season of racing, cursing, and possibly nude force feedback abuse. There no telling what might happen. In addition to the racing, we have real/fake sponsors. All four of our fine weekly podcasts will be sponsoring a driver, and we have several parody sponsors that reference many of our fondest inside jokes and material.

Our drivers will not be earning these sponsors on the pavement. Instead, each sponsor will have a silly, and possibly humiliating contest that will play out in front of the entire SG community. Fun for everyone! I should mention that the sponsorship contests are mere weeks away, as they will be decided before the racing actually starts.
