Remember the “Summer of Arcade” over at Xbox Live?  Games like Shadow Complex and Trials HD and Splosion Man? And then…poof…nothing?  XBLA started dropping games like Inferno Pool and Bubble Bobble Neo?

Amidst the flurry of games fleeing 4th quarter to get away from Modern Warfare 2 and Left 4 Dead 2, a little gem totally flew under the radar for me and just hit me in the back of the head like a boomerang.  I’m sure everyone focused on November 10th is certainly not paying attention to XBLA, so it would be easy to miss!

XBLA is about to get busy again with the November 18th release of Gyromancer, a Puzzle Quest-y roleplaying game-puzzle hybrid cooked up by…Square Enix and Popcap?    Pretty good chance while you clowns are busy shooting each other in the face in MW2, I’m going be playing through Gyromancer.
