UPDATE: Thanks to the incredible Houston Street Team, who threw a FANTASTIC live event last night at Alegria in H-town, Extra Life has officially passed the $140,000 dollar mark. Simply AWESOME.
—————————
We are blowing the total from last year out of the water! As of 11:00 p.m., the total for this year is $137,000. Thank you so much to everyone who participated and donated and volunteered and promoted and put their hearts into Extra Life! We have four and half more hours to go here in Houston. I hope you guys who have already put in your 24 hours are getting some well deserved zzzzzz’s.
Stay tuned to Sarcastic Gamer for updated totals, as the money is still coming in! The website will be accepting donations until October 31.
There is still time to meet your fundraising goal of $192. Everyone who reaches this amount gets the official Extra Life T-shirt (pictured above) designed by our very own Yamster and Undead Dog.

I just woke up after a good night’s sleep and thought I’d check out what was happening here. Wow! Talking about good news to wake up to!!
Well done everyone!
I’ll be so proud wearing that t shirt and it’ll so good telling all my sponsors we beat last year’s amount, yeah!
I regret that I couldn’t join in the gaming, but I am glad to see that my donations helped a little. I wasn’t expecting a total THAT big. This is great. Good job.
Well done everyone, that’s a brilliant total and you should all be proud for raising so much money for charity. I’m sure those kids will benefit from your charitable effort. I’m sure this total will rise as the donations are open until the end of the month so keep the donations coming! Again well done everyone!
So Exciting! Way to go!!
My teen son is crashed on the couch after his 26 (!) hours of gaming. He raised $260, with a couple more donations in the works. Great cause guys! Slamming ‘Red Bulls’ and staying up all night gaming usually gets him in trouble in this house, but last night we whole-heartedly encouraged him to do so.
We look forward to next year, we will happily support him again!
What an awesome mom. Congrats on the healthy son!!
The 24 hours for me went by way too fast! Today I’m honored to call myself a gamer. Extra Life is another example of when people unite for a common cause there isn’t anything that can’t be done! I have no doubt we will see an end to all forms of pediatric cancer and cancer in general during our lifetime!
