Streaming your console to a computer? That might be cool.

HD720

When I first read about Spawn Labs’ HD-720, my first thought was: “Well that’s a terrible idea.” Then I headed over to their website and read what they had planned for their ugly little box. I admit, I’m intrigued.

Simply having access to your home consoles on your Laptop and/or PC is cool, but I don’t know about $200 cool. If it works, having your library of downloaded titles and one disc game on your laptop while you’re on a trip or whatnot would be amazing.

Yes, latency will probably be an issue when on Wi-Fi, but are you seriously going to be trying to frag noobs in Halo 3 while at Starbucks?

It’s out there now if you’re interested. Personally, I would love to have access to my 360 at all times, I’m weird like that. I just don’t want to gamble on it yet.
