This is my Barbarizard. I controls him, I does.

This is my Barbarizard. I controls him, I does.

That’s right, you’re reading the title correctly. I am now a Barbarizard. No, not a hair-styling pokémon, but a half-barbarian/half-wizard combo of might and chaos! Capable of eviscerating the mightiest goblin and incinerating the most colossal rat! No mere mortal can stand in my way, for I would smite them thusly:

*SMITE!!!!11111!1*

Only the most powerful of Dragons and cunningly-concealed acid traps can even come close to offering me a challenge in battle, and even then, they’d be cautious…

FOR I AM KRELITH, BARBARIZARD OF STORMREACH!!!

Upon entering the port, my fellow shipmates praised my name, and rightly so, because I would have otherwise fed their undeserving flesh to the treacherous seas! The local wenches poured over me with unrelenting lust! And the men, stalwart in their belief that this was indeed the most momentous occasion of their lives, wished only to stride but one step in my place.

This is the place I will soon come to know as home. And these lands shall be thankful for that honour…

FOR I AM KRELITH, BARBARIZARD OF STO…

You guys get the point, right? No? You think I’ve gone mental? Dude/dudette, you’re way too late for that party! For those who truly have no idea what I’m babbling on about though, Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron: Stormreach: Unlimited: Toomanytitles launched this past week. AND IT’S FREE!

The whole game is free to download and free to play. Why? Because in a genius (and seemingly more and more common) move, Turbine are going to be relying on in-game micro transactions to fund the whole thing. Pay for additional content, pay for additional classes. races, items, etc.

Why is this for the best? Simply put, In order to enjoy the game – and I do mean the vast majority of the game – you don’t have to pay a thing. Not a penny/cent/euro-cent or whatever. Completing in-game quests can get you all the best loot drops available and anything available from the online store can be purchased using real cash OR by building up Turbine Points through achieving things in the game.

How do you get involved? LINK TO FREE STUFFZ!!!

I’ll be posting up a review later in the week, but for now I’ve got some Barbarizarding to get back to.

FOR I AM KR…*busy*
