Typically, another new trailer was released right after my previous Borderlands article highlighting the then most recent trailer.  The offending video follows the pageview-boosting orange link.

This newest piece of glorious visual media throws the long-heralded notion of age verification out the window, instead censoring all the icky parts with Borderlands stickers. And there are plenty of icky parts. Who knew the human body was so efficient at getting mutilated? Not I, that’s for damn sure, because I’ve been subjected to censor stickers and anti-climactic scene cuts!

That said, this new trailer – which shows off the basic character class templates – is still awesome… Of course it would’ve been awesommer if there were cell-shaded gore remnants everywhere, but I guess I can wait for the release to appease that side of my depraved personality.

And yes, I did just invent a new word describing an improved status of somethings pre-existing awesomeness. I don’t care if you’ve heard it before, because I just invented it, just now, OKAY?!
