In a move that can only be described as shocking and heartbreaking, Joseph Frawley (a.k.a. Frawlz, V3inyD1LD0, and nompenisnom) has left the ranks of Sarcastic Gamer to join the Fox News Network. The unfortunate series of events began with an email to the Sarcastic Gamer staff and soon after followed up by an official press statement by Fox public relations representatives. Fox PR stated:
“Joseph approached the Fox News team with a solemn heart and deep regret. He stated that through his pivotal role on SarcasticGamer.com as a video game podcaster, he shamefully introduced into the minds of many innocent adolescents and children disgusting, crude, and degrading views of the male genitalia. He took advantage of his role model status and perverted the minds of many. For this, he has deep regret and remorse and wants the families of the children he has adversely affected to know that from now on he will do everything in his power to prevent this from happening again […] Joseph cited the source of his unforgivable demeanor as video games. Joseph stated, ‘I will do everything in my power to take video games out of the homes of American families! I will not allow any more families to be destroyed! I will not allow anyone to go down the same path I did! This I vow, that justice will be served! And with God as my witness I will bring this justice to Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo’s doorsteps!’ […] We look forward to having Joseph “Frawlz” Frawley on our ‘dream team’ and in the field with our senior resident video game expert Jack Thompson.”
