brutal legend wont be the best game ever, noone is expecting that but I’m am expecting it to be a great game with a focus on fun.

is it the best game from e3 this year? no.
Will I enjoy it more than the other games listed? am sure I will

1) Bayonetta’s outfit is made out of hair, not leather (unfortunately)

2) ^ I like Brutal Legend not because of Psychonauts (which I’ve never played) or because of Tim Schafer. I just think it looks like a hell of a lot of fun, and I love classic rock and metal

I still can’t believe Brutal Legend was nominated for Best of Show and God of War III wasn’t. I can’t believe that Scribblenauts wasn’t nominated for Best of Show as well.

Brutal Legend is just the game that everybody loves to love because apparently Psychonauts was awesome (it wasn’t) but nobody bought it (whatever, get over it) so now the entire gaming industry feels guilty. Tim Schafer needs to stop designing games. He’s not a good designer. He’s a great writer though. He should become a game writer. The industry needs good writers.

I don’t think Brutal Legend is necessarily a turd, but I just couldn’t see it winning any/many of the categories it was nominated for against the games it was up against.

From what I saw, its place on those nominations wasn’t warranted. The results of the winners seem to agree.

Before the mindless sheep/consumer starts taking a stance that Brutal Legend is per definition donkey crap. Let me remind thee that the games that are in comparison are top notch games that are expected to deliver on all fronts, moreover, since it will be a great year to be a gamer on all systems, ‘cept the wii”(this is my pacmanpolarbear reference) then make sure to get all these gamez, considering you really want a interesting and fulfilling gaming year
