There’s still time to help make BIGGER smiles

Monday, we asked the community to step up and help bring a smile to a heroic young lady in Austin.  This evening I am very pleased to report that Amber, who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, will be getting those “green bracelets” de-embossed with her charity’s website, Ambers-Angels.org.

After just one blog post, and countless retweets from folks like you, we’ve passed the 500 dollar mark we needed to hit for the order.  While this is AWESOME, there’s still time to donate a couple of dollars towards this very special gift.  Please hit the jump, and please consider pitching in.

Several people asked if they could also buy one of Amber’s wristbands, to which I must say absolutely not.  Instead, when the wristbands are delivered to Amber, I’ll ask her to autograph a stack of them and Lesley and I will just mail you one, our treat.

While we’ve raised enough for the minimum order, the SGC has never been known for doing anything “a little bit”.  It would be awesome to double what we’ve raised thus far and really wow Amber and her mom (who have NO IDEA any of this is happening on their behalf) with an even bigger order, and perhaps even a nice little check for their foundation.

So, whether its 5 bucks or 50 bucks, please consider reading more about Amber and pitching in to give this young hero even more to smile about.

Thanks everyone.  There’s no community like this one…. anywhere.
