See, this is the sort of news you want to be reading about. Never mind real announcements, in-depth financial analysis of the gaming economy, or even some of those fantastic rumors and pieces of speculation that are flying around the blogosphere: what gamers really want to know about is free pizza.
Looks like Rockstar might be able to provide that for you. The news of the day awaits over the jump!
We all love pizza. It is a godly food, especially if one orders it with stuffed crust, which is simply the cherry on top. Or rather, the cheese in the crust. Or something. You get the idea.
Anyway, as you may be aware, Midnight Club Los Angeles received its first DLC last month in the form of the South Central city expansion, which also threw in some new cars and songs. Rockstar, obviously keen to celebrate the finest street racer out there, have paired up with Pizza Hut to give you the chance to win 600 bucks of the finest food to go with it.
All you have to do is take part in one of the time trials taking place during this month – listed on Rockstar’s Social Club community website – and make your way through the qualifying rounds with the fastest times you can. If you’re the fastest of them all, you’ve got $599 of Pizza Hut vouchers at your disposal.
Even if you don’t snatch first prize you can win yourself some Rockstar merchandise so as long as you’ve got the South Central expansion and you live in the States (double check those terms and conditions) you’ve got nothing to lose.
Besides, free pizza! Every gamer should be entitled to free pizza but until then, there’s always contests in Midnight Club.

It’s a good thing that I’m picking this game up today! Mmmm….stuffed crust pizza……
Am I the only one that thinks the stuffing in the crust tastes like dough, not cheese?
Oh but it’s SO delicious!
Mm… News.
First of all, I love that graphic… nice job.
Second of all, I’m scared to even consider entering this contest. I don’t need that many pizzas and I know my level of self control… cook or eat a free pizza from Pizza Hut? Hmm… nom nom nom… pretty soon I’d have to buy all new pants and slip on shoes… no thanks. I love Midnight Club LA and I like the taste of Pizza Hut’s cooked-in-grease encrusted pizza dough, but as I grow older and wiser, I know I’m not longer in the eat $600 worth of free pizza and not take a health nosedive crowd. LOL
