There’s no other way to write this, other than to just say to you that I’m not going to be a host of the Red Show anymore. It’s time for me to move on. I’ve given up so much time doing this over the past two years. I’ve helped build this from scratch. From scratch. Wow… From nothing to something in the podcast world is pretty cool. I remember starting off, thinking that we were really doing something different. Good production values, 30 minute shows, Paul Christy… Ah Paul Christy. I’m pretty proud of all of that. As time goes on, I just don’t feel that connected to it anymore. Every week feels the same and I think I became frustrated with that. Over time, my frustration just kind of led me to not really enjoying it any more. So, I’ve decided to leave the show.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll also be divesting myself from Sarcasticgamer.com. In all honesty, the partners in the corporation of Sarcasticgamer.com and myself have some stuff to sort out, but until then, I’ll be here.
Will I be on other podcasts? Of course. Am I going to stop podcasting? NO. Hell no. I may even turn up on the Red Show from time to time after this gets sorted out. Will I keep writing? I think that I will. I’m just going to move on to other things, new things. I don’t know what yet, but I think that after I take a step back, look around and re-assess things, I’ll be back up and ranting in no time.
To those that selflessly gave their time and energy to this site for a pittance in return, Thank You. I’ve learned a lot from you all. Truth be told, we have some of the best talent on the interwebs and it has been our best kept secret. I wish you all nothing but the best.
To the peeps that, for some reason, enjoy reading what I write and listening to me talk, what are you thinking ? Seriously though, my heart swells with emotion when I think about leaving you all. So, I prefer not to think of it as leaving, but instead, I’ll be taking a break until I resurface again. For those of you that are still interested in what I have going on, you can follow me on Twitter. Just so you know, I will not stop doing what I do and I hope you’ll be there with me when I start doing it again.
To Doc, my friend. We sure did it. WE took gaming by the balls and made our place. To you, I say don’t stagnate. Don’t get caught up in what other people think. You don’t need that. You’re your harshest critic, so look to yourself and keep this going. We DID do it, and YOU are doing it. Don’t stop. You are an extremely talented individual and THE reason that I wanted to do this. For that, I thank you.
So, to everyone, thanks for reading my stuff and caring about what I had to say. I truly appreciate it. Thanks.

This past week, I have learned how terrible my life would be with no podcasts, there was no orange show, blue show and today there is no red show – I’m getting really bored! If Lono goes, I don’t think I’ll be able to take Mondays anymore.

Wow, the red show is my favourite podcast of all time, it won’t be the same without you. The red show introduced me to gaming more than anything else and made me laugh so hard I cried, you were part of something amazing and you helped to do some things and say some things that need to be said and done.

It’s very short sighted to assume that they haven’t been communicating behind the scenes. Above all else, these guys are friends, I don’t see it necessary for their communications to be public. It should just be assumed they are there.

Good luck in your future endeavors, bro. Although it took the 3 of you to bring the SG Podcast to the top, it was, in my opinion, Lono’s charisma and wittiness that made it that much more special.
Perhaps this will give you a better opportunity to spend more time with your new born daughter as this is the best part of watching a child grow up. As well as perhaps light a fire under Doc & Dave’s arses to move forward and improve the show.

I’ve listened all the way from Episode 1, and as much as i enjoyed the whole thing, it was you, Lono, that kept me coming back. Honestly though, i will say that recently i’ve been losing interest, and i wasn’t quite sure why. Scrolling down the page, i think i now know. If your heart wasn’t in it anymore, than the Red Show could never be of the quality it once was. Consciously, i never really noticed, but subconsciously, i think it registered with me a few weeks ago. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours Lono.

I must say, the show took off well… Too well… I miss Paul Christy, the regular spoof songs, etc. It just isn’t what it started of with… for good and bad.
