March was a reasonably big month in terms of new releases, expansions, DLC and patches. We even managed to get a big name AAA title for every gaming platform (except the Wii…I forgot to ask my Grandma what’s hot right now).
Four titles in particular struck a cord (which is attached to my wallet) with yours truly. Two of which I have already picked up; one of which will require the purchase of a new console; and the last one I plan to purchase in order to perform some “behavioral therapy.”

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (DS)

Old school GTA top down carnage! I’ve heard more than a few people “poo-poo” Chinatown Wars for going back to the original play style (with all sorts of upgraded and DS only goodness of course) the GTA series evolved from. You know what? Stop s****** around my games! It’s just nasty. This, along with a few other titles is why I am returning to the DS for the third time. Yeah, I’m going to buy a DSi, got a problem with that?
Resistance: Retribution (PSP)
Metacritic Score: 82
Now I have been b******* and moaning about the lack of PSP games to play for a while now. It’s half the reason I am looking to buy a DSi. Not to replace the PSP, but to compliment it. That said, Retribution was well worth the wait. Yeah using the D-pad can be a bit annoying and cover is a bit too clingy, but damned if this game is not one of the best shooters on the PSP. It looks great, the enemies are no joke and it has a robust multiplayer setup. If I could just own that jacket…

Dude, im so with you on at least 2 of those games, and for the record res 5 is superb
Madworld was released for the Wii in March. I’d consider that a big title considering how much press and development it’s been getting.
