It’s been a while since we’ve had an official sponsor on Sarcastic Gamer, but thankfully someone finally decided that we were worth it.  Please join me in welcoming Bananas as our new official marketing partner, with a deal worth literally dozens of dollars.

“We’re very excited about this new partnership,” said Chiquita DelMonte, spokesperson for Bananas, “we searched far and wide and I can’t imagine a more a-peel-ing site for our product.”

While no immediate changes are planned, we are looking forward to a “bunch” of awesome prize giveaways from the Banana Council.  More monkey business after the jump.

“This is just awesome,” said Shane86, a long time Sarcastic Gamer community member.  ”I’ve always thought things around here were a little bananas, and this just brings it all home for me, as a leader in the community.”

Not every member of the Sarcastic Gamer Community was as enthusiastic about the deal.

“I do not understand this,” said Regua, webmaster for the site, “For one thing yellow doesn’t even begin to go with our new site theme, plus I live in Poland and, since they can’t ship fruit internationally, this really does nothing for me.”

In a statement released this morning, Sarcastic Gamer founder, Doc Adams, reassured the community that this sponsorship was not a slip up and would have exciting benefits for the community:

“If you’ve ever seen pictures of the people in the SGC, one thing that jumps right out at you is the serious potassium deficiency. This deal means free bananas for everyone all the time.”
