Well not really, but it seems that Kotaku.com’s own Brian Crecente has signed a three game deal with Rockstar games to be the life model and inspiration for their upcoming game: Jesus H. Christ, Superstar! The seven figure deal was nailed down late last Sunday, and when asked for comment by Sarcasticgamer.com, Mr. Crecente said, “well, I’m a little short for the part, but god damn my hair is perfect!”
Rockstar did note in their press release that they would have to digitally shorten Mr. Crecente’s beard, but did agree that he does have fabulous hair and may even seek to sign the diminutive blogger to star in their upcoming title, “Dwarf Pirate, a Short Shoreman’s story.”
Rockstar spokesman Peter Pilate indicated that Superstar! will follow the life and times of Jesus, but in a modern setting. Fanboys, expect car jackings and water walking in this Q4 2008 release.
