I slaved today writing an evaluation of how the general public feel regarding games, when I could have been writing about Mr.T.
It went down like this: The news broke with a press release from developer ZootFly that none other than Mr.T would be starring in a series of games. Eoco was all “Someone needs to write this up”, but I’m busy finishing my monologue so I miss him. Then he’s like “whatever I’ll do it” and I’m totally “NOO!”ing out about it.
But, an hour ago he told us he was unable so I step up to the plate.
I haven’t even really talked about the game yet; I should definitely start doing that! After the jump!
Reading the description made me smile one of the widest smiles I’ve ever done, I hope you’ll feel the same as I give you a quick recount of it:
Mr.T as a superhero and Former EA employee Will Wright playing a geneticist, in a game where you’re battling Nazis in South American rain forests, lost ancient cities, industrial complexes and contemporary military installations.
And that’s just the premise of the first game.
Zootfly claims: “The games will feature knuckle-whitening action-adventure, furious brawler combat, gravity-defying platforming, and environmental puzzles”, which is exactly what I want, no more, no less, from a superhero Mr.T Game.
It will appear on PS3, Xbox360, Wii and PC, and will never win game of the year.
It will win game of Every Year.
