If you download the multiplayer demo for Capcom’s “Bionic Commando”, there’s a pretty good chance you will have the same first thought that I had when the gameplay started.
“21 years after the original arcade cabinet came out, they finally taught the SOB how to jump!”

You've come a long way, baby.
Let’s break it down.
The demo is a free 2 gig download available to Xbox 360 gold members, which gives you one level of non-customizable multiplayer content. So I had to upgrade my account to download the thing.
I imagine that the idea of my not having a gold account probably set off some alarm klaxons with some of you. And it should. This multiplayer demo is my first foray into the land of Xbox Live multiplayer. I have played enough multiplayer on my PC where it’s free (minus my MMORPG accounts), so I’ve never really gotten into it.
So for journalism’s sake, I upgraded my account and got the demo. My first stumbling block was I apparently hit a snag when I logged in that I wasn’t able to find anyone to actually play with. It brought me to a settings room where it showed the list of multiplayer options, which I couldn’t tinker with, and a list of gamers in the room. I was alone, and alone for at least 15 minutes. So much so I opened up some online poker tables on my computer and played a few rounds while I waited for it to find me some warm bodies to play against.
Apparently, there was some kind of matchmaking glitch, because after I quit out and came back in, there was a full room of people to play against. Rock on.
Hmmm. Demo impressions continue over the page!

you should try chronicles of riddick if you’re a fan of the innovative multiplayer for instance one mode is where one player is riddick and then every other player has to find him in a dark room which looks fun
Also the couple of articles of yours you have done have been pretty good keep it up *thumbsup*
“Pitch Black” – yeah, that was definitely a unique spin on multiplayer offerings.
Thanks for the tag BBQ. I feel a tear coming on (sniff)!
I had heard of the new Riddick games mutliplayer, sounds right up my alley.
