Nice to know it worked the other way. When we had $2 to the £1, we were getting charged nearly $400 equivalent for Rock Band.

In fairness, Nintendo like to make a profit.

The PS3 still loses Sony per item, and they make their money back by charging their devs fot all the games released on the format.

Microsoft needed to cut prices since they need to sell more 360’s after Red-Ringitis

Ninty know, as you said, that people will still buy the console (and will buy the DSi too) so they can raise their prices (which they can say is because of the market flooding of the money float, as you said) and they can have their margins a bit bigger in a time of worldwide economic downturn.

If I were running a company, I too would like to increase my profits when everyone else was losing theirs. (Especially since Ninty hate having to fire people)
