After almost two years working for Sarcastic Gamer, it is with the greatest sadness that I must announce my resignation as an SG staff member, effective immediately. Though this may seem sudden to a few of you, I have been thinking about moving on for months now, and recent behind the scenes drama has finally convinced me now is the time to bow out.

I have always enjoyed writing, podcasting and gaming for/with the SGC. It was the best job in the world. However, as our site has grown, so to have the ego’s of all our staff members, and their particular real world vices.
Doc, our founder and leader, has changed a lot since SG started. This once compassionate, generous man has become an angry task master behind the scenes. Should any staff member fail in any way, real or perceived, threats of “having to review Wii games” or “be in our next video” are guaranteed. Arguments against the upcoming yellow and brown striped SG T-shirts were ignored and it seems likely that Doc will attempt to sell SG to Jim Sterling over at Destructiod for a “I love Jim Sterling” sticker and all the Xbox 360 games that have come out since last September.
Lono…well…Lono has not changed at all, seeing as how his egomania is one of the immutable constants of this universe.
Dave is, without question, responsible for the majority of the success we have had with the SG Podcast lineup. He works tirelessly to edit and put out top notch, radio broadcast quality podcasts, for free. Alas, all of the pressure and the constant work load has pushed Dave further down into the dark hole of addiction. On a half dozen different occasions now Dave has refused to edit the SG Playstation podcast on time, because he had run out of sugar, which is the chief ingredient in preparing purple Kool-Aid. More than once Dave has stumbled his way to staff members houses, twitching from sugar withdraw, fingers stained purple, begging for 35 cents so that he can get a fix. Even though he struggles with untold cavities and permanently sticky fingers, the rest of the SG staff looks the other way as long as he edits their shows on time.

Wow working in SG sounds like hell, but PMPB did you forgot about the contract you sign?
I heard it was life binding contract and you can never quit SG at all, it happened right after Supa left because of all the abuse that was given to him and he never came back.
Oh fun fact, the contract was write by our all powerful “Global Editor & Chef: Lono”
