
He didn’t take very long to question me. He only needed to shout a few words and I told him everything I knew, fortunately that was a pretty short list. I told him I knew half of the two times tables, what day of the week it was last Thursday and how to get the kill screen on Donkey Kong. He said that none of that was relevant to the case and I was wasting Police time. Dumb cop – I mean, I may be dumb, but at least I’m not in charge of anything! This idiot was supposed to be in charge of a murder investigation!
As normal with these flat footed, red faced city cops, he couldn’t have detected his way out of a paper bag with a map and a pair of scissors. He had no idea how to catch the killer and was leaning on Doc and I, for information. As normal Doc was one step ahead of everyone and came up with a likely suspect. Most of the evidence was Sarcastically circumstantial, but the fact that we found no physical evidence at the scene of the crime, could explain why he always wears a hat and gloves!
Captain Lono was keen to make an arrest but Doc was worried about rushing into things…
