Rockstar replaces first R with a C?

rockstarWhat do you get when you take Rockstar, and replace the first “R” with a “C”?  Apparently you get this cutscene from the new Lost and Damned DLC, featuring full frontal male nudity.  Wow, if I was on the fence already about buying the DLC, surely news of a digital dong will push me over the edge… LOL!  I kid, I kid…

All joking aside, I guess I’m for equal rights.  If this will help usher in the ability for developers to cover “nudity” in general without it being labeled as “female exploitation,” then as odd as it seems, I’m for male nudity in games.  We need it to keep things in balance.  Will I enjoy it?  No…  but I don’t imagine the girls out there enjoy the female nudity much either.  You’ve got to give to get and who am I to stand in the way of women that might find this guy “Hawt!!!”

Rockstar…  keep pushing.  We need gaming to have the same freedoms other media has which like it or not also includes mature content.

    “Wow, we are so cool and edgy by putting a naked guy in our game. Let’s see how many gaming websites we can get to cover this story and give us free advertising.”
    Rockstar constitutes an overwhelming majority of what is bad in games. Crappy gameplay, pretentious “games-are-art” motivation, and offense for offensiveness’ sake.
    MEANWHILE, AT ROCKSTAR HQ:
    “We could make a generic game, but let’s get idiots to praise it by letting you beat up hookers, then call it artistic expression!”

    GTA is a really good game. Sure, there is a ton of violence, but if I buy a game based on brutal gangs, I expect some brutal violence. I don’t think they just be violent for the sake of being violent, they do it as an accurate representation of what can and does happen. Not saying there are guys running around with rocket launchers constantly around New York, but you get my point.

    GTA4 in particular does not but you in the body of some mindless killer, but a person who is really struggling with his morals, and who wants to be a “good” person. They give you moral choices throughout the game, and I for one went good with all of them.

    In the end, you have an opinion and so do I. Neither if fact.

    As much as I don’t want to see a digital wang, I’m perfectly fine with my own, I AM glad to see that my MATURE rated games are getting more mature.

    i found it surprisingly hard to get back into GTA after playing saints row.

    not that lost and damed isnt good, im just of of those crazy people who thinks saints row is more fun.

    man…..i want a saints row DLC soooo badly now……dammm

    Evidently the economy is worsing to the point that developers have to promote pornography to gain attention and sell their game…….how sad.
