Apparently it is really, really true!  There is going to be a red Xbox 360.  Several days ago a Toys R Us employee released a photo from the store’s database showing that they were including a Red Elite Xbox 360 in their inventory.  Now there is even more proof……Microsoft has yet to make an official announcement about the new Xbox, but they may have inadvertently told everyone!  The folks at Button Masher stated that a press release with info on Microsoft’s latest Xbox promotion may have spilled the beans.  The release said that A free copy of Halo Wars is to be given away with every Xbox 360 sold during the promotional period of 26 February 2009 – 26 March 2009.

EB Games stores said they believe they will have the limited edition red elite console to sale starting on March 13.  It is rumored to retail at $399.99 and come with the games Resident Evil 5 and Gears of War 2.
