In an interview with Fragzone Special yesterday, blogger Chris Andrews asked Nintendo’s Miyamoto about the lackluster performance of its Wii Music title, and about plans for a sequel to the heavily-hyped franchise.

Through an interpreter Miyamoto addressed both issues.

Wii Music was perhaps a little ahead of its time, and it truly baffled those who attempted to understand its appeal.  While certainly cannot comment on the specifics at this time, I can assure you that Wii Music 2 will break sales records without a problem.  Wii Music 2 will be in every home where there is a Wii.  Mark my words.

To which Andrews responded:

You’re bundling it with the system aren’t you.

Miyamoto…

Shit.  Who told you?

Critics and gamers are lined up to see which Nintendo game franchise’s soundtrack will serve as the backbone for the next Wii Music beast.  45 ways to play the theme from Zelda seems pretty feasible.
