RE5 controls are what they are… they’re true to the RE series… but with respect to Doc’s new introduction to the series, you guys HAVE to realize that as the gaming market gets bigger and bigger, less and less people (percentage wise) will have played RE 1-4.
The demo _looks_ phenomenal, but I think the series is starting to show its age in terms of controls. Like Doc, most of my tension came from controlling the damned game. Why can’t they use their programming prowess to make a game in which you can easily and quickly control your character instead of arbitrarily maintaining an archaic control scheme?
@Rothbart: That’s your opinion. Personally, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the control scheme. It fits the game and I didn’t have any issues moving and stopping and shooting.
Use control type C!!!! For the love of anything holy, use control type C!
It’s exactly like RE4 controls. Control Type D (default) sucks.
So you guys, just listened to Rebel Fm, I know who you didn’t have on the show but he thinks he was.
The RE5 demo (for me) was so unbearable, I couldn’t play for more than 5 minutes. The controls got me so frusterated, not to mention the fact that I have to walk when I shoot. Yes, I know this will be a big game, it’s just not my time.
