In these uncertain times of credit crunches and global warming there are two things everyone likes to see more of – recycling and free stuff. This is why I’ve recycled some old comics into some free stuff for you to use around the home. I’ve called them Desktops, as that their intended use, but feel free to use them on mobiles (thats cell phones if your in the US or mein handy if your in the Gears-of-warless-Germany) They can also be printed out and used as mini posters (but be careful if you are printing them on a home printer, as some of them will take a lot of ink)
There are 12 designs in total – in two different sizes – A more standard 4×3 format (which should be suitable for screens 1024×768) and a widescreen format (which should be suitable for screens that are 1440×900) There is even a non comic based design, for any comic haters out there – just because you hate me (sniff, sniff, sob) that doesn’t mean I forgot about you.

I hope you like the designs, and as I said they are completely free – all I ask is that you give me some feedback. This is the first batch of these I’ve done and so I want to make sure they look alright. I’ve checked them on my screen but want to know how they come out on everyone else’s. If there is a lot of demand for a different size then I can add that going forward.

Excellent work as always MightyMutt. My favorites are the 2 Davebusters images and the Grumpy Company one. The LittleBigFallout and Solid Lon ones are great as well.
I like the ideas behind the LittleBigPodcasters and Mr Meh wallpapers, but they seem kind of bland. Personally, I think there is too much white (unused) space.
Can’t wait to see the next batch.

@Havok: I found that the ones with lots of white space were the best for a desktop backround, where you need to see icons.
