A voluptuous, scantily clad, female archaeologist or a chiseled, scintillating male adventurer?
‘Tis is a problematic predicament, to be sure, and one that I would certainly not like to have the displeasure of resolving. On the one hand, Lara Croft could provide intellectually stimulating archaeological tidbits, but on the other, Nathan Drake could recall many an epic tale of adventures in exotic locations, and let us stroke his hair tag along on his exploratory journeys. Thankfully though, none of us have this make this most difficult of decisions.
Enter Bruce Straley.
Bruce Straley is one of Naughty Dog’s directors, currently toiling away at the Uncharted series. When asked whether Nathan (we’re on first name e-terms, sometimes he even lets us call him ‘The Drake-anator’) could ever reach Lara’s dizzying heights of celebrity, Straley replied saying, “Why, do you think he’s not already there, if not beyond that point already, in terms of popularity?”. He went on to say that Nate was “compelling” and brought a “much needed breath of fresh air” to the industry.
As for us: buxom Lara has been around for a while, but wisecrack Nathan is hardly the most original of protaganists. That said, both are better than bald space marines, so can’t we just share the love equally between them both? Peace out, man.

I have no idea what this article is about but I think he’s hunky
I’ll take Lara any day.
Having never owned a lara croft game (although I’ve played a few) I’d have to say I prefer Nathan more, I know that he doesn’t have any films out (yet) but personally I can relate to him more.
He’s funny, obviously a male, and seems more “normal” than lara, I mean he doesn’t seem to be particularly rich or anything like that and he has a hell of a lot more of a personality than that Lara, though I found his first game too short, as a character he’s extremely interesting and satisfying.
i prefer nathan to lara, mainly because nathan is much nicer than lara (who is a pure evil bi**h)
most of lara’s enemys arnt bad, some are just trying to get the treasure before her (witch seems to warrent a death sentence by her for some reason), dispite the fact that she is filthy rich, while the person she just killed probably needs the money alot more. Dont even get into her “thing” for killing animals (first sign of a serial killer).
nathan is just a guy seeking fame and fortune (unlike lara, he dosent already have both), who fights genuinly evil people.
Both are extremely generic, but at least I don’t want to hit Nathan Drake in the face every time he opens his mouth. The same cannot be said for Lara.
