ff13

I can’t understand a word of what these people are saying but this game looks totally stacked, graphically.  I just hope they get better voice actors for the English version, because even though the native cast is speaking gibberish, the vocal performances ooze cheese.

Complete trailer after the jump.

Portions of this video are rated “A” for Awsomeness.

Told ya.  Even not being a big follower of the FF franchise, I find myself getting a little giddy about FF13.  Could be the graphics, the sound, the gameplay…. or maybe just because its coming to the only console I own (360).

The annotation on this video points to a HQ version with subtitles, for what it’s worth…

It has a black gay dude that keeps a baby chocobo in his afro! How could you not be hyped for this?

      I couldn’t have said it better Shane86!

I am not excited for this until I hear more about the battle system. The battle system in FF12 didn’t do it for me, I hated it. I rather enjoy turned based JRPG, where I can take my time to think about the next move. That’s why I loved FFX, and I really disliked FF12. Graphics isn’t everything ppl!

I couldnt have said it better than Shane, mostly because I have no idea what he is talking about. But that’s typical for me.

As a long-time FF fan, I’m also pretty excited about this game, Doc. Glad to hear that you are too.

Does this mean the fast-paced combat has a broader appeal than those of past FFs, or just that the graphics are super pretty? We’ll find out in 2010, I guess.
