This year’s E3 was a hum drum affair, according to most.  Nintendo announced nothing, while Sony’s press conference was a non-factor.  Ultimately, Microsoft won the unofficial “best press conference of E3″ almost by default, by doing this:

Then the PS3 fanboys went ape shizzle.

At E3 2008, Microsoft announced that they had secured the rights to Final Fantasy XIII on the Xbox 360 everywhere in the world, except in Japan, where it would remain a PS3 exclusive.  The FF series has been a stalwart Sony property for years, and to “lose” this exclusive to the “xbots” was unbearable.  Yes, I know how ridiculous that last sentence was.

Speaking of ridiculousness, how about the fanboys that went crazy with petitions and online temper tantrums. The icing on that moron cake?

This guy:

I really want to believe that he made that as a joke.  I really do.

Of course, in my heart of hearts, I know it’s not. That video makes me sad for humankind.

For the fanboy morons that were mad that Square Enix wanted to make more money and didn’t give a crap about ridiculous notions of  “console loyalty,” Microsoft scoring FF13 and the moron rage that followed landed at number 28 on our list of top gaming moments of 2008!

Wikipedia describes the slang usage of Douche bag as such-
Douche bag, or simply douche, is considered to be a pejorative term in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the Philippines, and the United States. The slang usage of the term dates back to the 1960s.[6] The metaphor of identifying a person as a douche is intended to associate a variety of negative qualities, specifically arrogance and malice.

That guy is an Über Douche bag! Although I don’t see Japan on the list, so he should be safe there.

Holy dick. Can you imagine hearing that guy’s voice online? Although, I may start drinking my milk from a wineglass. Maybe then I would finally be cool.

I love the whole “Final Fantasy” belongs to Sony argument. They tend to forget that FF STARTED with Nintendo. Not to mention Crystal Chronicles for the Wii.

The only generation that SOLELY got Final Fantasy was the PSX generation.

With how much of an ass that guy made of himself I wouldn’t be suprised if that glass wasn’t filled with his daddy’s splouge.

That petition video was a joke. It’s a Something Awful forum member’s reenactment of an actual post at another forum (it might’ve been NeoGaf; not sure, though).
