When the news about Wii Fit first broke, we HAD to make fun of it. It’s a bathroom scale that goes well with everything in your IKEA furnished room. What’s not to make fun of.
Let’s see, where do you begin?There’s the initial commercial to make fun of, for it’s ridiculousness… which we did. Then the news media got a hold of it and it was quickly revealed that the Wii Fit didn’t make you fit at all. It was meant to make you more “aware” of your body. So, we made fun of people who bought it to get fit in the form of a song.
Wii Fit being an underhanded pitch from Nintendo, for constant ridicule makes it number 71 on our top 100 gaming moments of 2008.

Wii Fit is a FITNESS PROGRAM, not a WEIGHT LOSS TOOL. There is a difference. Leaning from side to side is not supposed to decrease your weight, it is meant to align your posture. And damn, does it work.
