Back in August, we announced that SG was going to go one step further toward including the fans into the very fabric of what SG stands for. The launch of the SG Community Podcasts changed the way websites bring their community together, giving anyone a voice, and their own podcast. Plus we made Dave do an incredible amount of work for free. Thanks Dave!

Sarcastic Gamer has always been an active community, full of talented, funny and yes, sarcastic gamers who come together to laugh, rant, cheer and generally have fun with everything involved with our favorite activity: gaming. The majority of the SG staff were plucked from the forums and we all (the SG staff) do our very best to make sure the SG community gets the props (and content) that they deserve.
The rules are simple: Shows cannot be longer than 20 minutes, they must be family friendly (no quoting George Carlin on air), cast members must be registered members of the SGC and be in good standing. That’s it. The shows received their own SGCP feed and lots of help diving into the exciting world of video game podcasting.
We knew it would appeal to a lot of people, and that (seeing as how the SGC is full of talented, funny people) the shows would be great, but what we didn’t know, was just how many people would want to make their own podcast, or how popular they would become. Quite frankly, Sarcastic Gamer just would not be the same without them now.
Here’s a quick rundown of SG’s community podcasts and their respective hosts. Oh, and YES, the SG staff DOES listen to the shows, we just can’t comment on them all or listen to them all as soon we’d like sometimes.
Resonator: The Podcast that popped the community cherry, the show is hosted by 8Bit Bass, DogsDieInHotCars and Snaps. It also resonates with the community, go figure.
Younglings: Apparntly anyone between 13 and 17 years of age is a youngling. Young they may be, but Tobitron, Gir15 and Professor Chaos give us something special (who are we to call THEM immature?) every episode.
Livecast: Happy madness hosted by DarkWonders, Animathias and DeathByWaffle.
Griefcast: Featuring the insanity that is Kiljoy and the memorable voice of DolmenRage.
Casual Core: Hosted by Zinc136 and Demonoid, they keep the show so casual I think they forget their recording sometimes!

I didn’t realise there were that many.
Yeah pacman i hate to be mean, but u say that the staff listen to the community podcasts!!!NO THEY DONT, u have said the hosts of casual core are Zinc136 and Demonoid, they were the hosts for the FIRST episode and thats it, for alol other 5 that have come out i have been a host. so it seems you have only listened to the first episode or just looked at the show notes of the first episode
^ I DO listen to the shows. I admit I have not listened to EVERY episode of EVERY show (yet). However, keeping all the shows and hosts straight is a bit much so I went back to the show notes for each show, in order of when they first came out, just easier that way…ergo I mistakenly forgot to give you credit.

If I made any other errors please understand that the list is long with lots of hosts. Each and every one of you (hosts) deserves respect and props for what you have done and continue to do. As do all the fans who make the SGC so great.
YDM PacMan! Shame this was all the way down at # 55 on the list, but who am I to complain? Thank you Sarcastic Gamer for doing something like this and daring to give your community a voice. I hae made a lot of valuable friendship because of this, and I have you guys to thank for it.
