[UPDATE] SG Bargain Hunter: Play.com Mega Monday Madness

The SG Bargain Hunter returns to the UK following the Black Friday chaos for a breaking piece of news. Play.com are running a ‘Mega Monday’ promotion for today only and there’s a whole host of awesome deals on offer. There’s new games for better than half price, consoles with slashes prices and a fair bit more in the 36 bargains available.

    Is that 24 quid profit CASH, or CREDIT? May want to check that…
    But I bought a copy of GTA IV this morning for the 360, in preparation for the DLC, and I’ve just purchased Rainbow Six Vegas 2 as I’ve been itching to play that. And at a tenner, it’s a steal…

    Balaamsafe, they’re buying FarCry 2 on the 360 for 25 quid a copy CASH, so you’ll get 7 quid profit per copy. They’ll give you 60 quid worth of credit to use instore if you trade the copies in. And if they catch wind of this cut in price, then you’ll find that you may get less. Still, it’s profit.
    It’s the same situation with Bioshock.
    17.99 for the game, 25 quid CASH for the game…

    Never know though. They may give you a little more for a new copy. You should try ebaying a copy, or try other gaming stores first, to get the most out of your trading.

    OH, and Fable 2 is 20 quid on Gamestation.co.uk, if you still want that game.

    @ cod, no they are steel book edition copies, which they buy for £30 cash and £36 credit.
