Konami’s Japanese website is currently hosting a the above teaser image leaving people to wonder exactly what they’re hinting at. Should we be expecting a expansion to MGS4? Is this finally the confirmation 360 owners have been waiting for that MGS4 is coming to their system? SarcasticGamer.com did some digging and we found other teaser images hidden on the Konami website. Hit the jump to see what else we found…
I think this image lends more credit to the Xbox 360 port rumors, but still, I’m not 100% convinced…

Kojima himself said himself “MGS4 will not come to 360, so please stop asking!”, also he was not satisfied with having “only 50gb to use”. Bringing this to 360 would be a technical triumph…
But I would rather think this is a confirmation of the MG As!d port to iPhone

no, it doesn’t mean there’s a MGS coming to the 360. Since when did an on button sign become the 360s logo? surely its an X if anything.
I’m fed up with reading this everywhere. maybe mgs is coming to my mac since i’m looking at the on switch and it has the same logo.
I reckon it means:
i (DSi or iPhone) + ! (mgs acid) = that symbol (on)
so it’ll just be a touch screen mgs.

grrr. I saw the RROD and thought about Kojima’s sense of humor.. an then almost two hours realized it was Friday.
I think it is Ac!id and a 360 version. Why have all of those things?

From a business standpoint this would be the best move. expand your install base by making it a multi console game. Look how much MGS4GotP made so far? Think about how much they could make if they release it on the 360 which has the biggest install base outside Japan.
And another point is looking at the artical PS3 owners would rather have a metal gear game on the mac or DS than the 360… Why? Because they are afraid of actually losing their exclusive. What about BioShock? Yeah I was angry at first but then I realized that it means people who dont own a 360 will be able to enjoy the story.
Yes I do plan on buying a PS3 sometime in the future. (Maybe when Home actually comes out.) But right about now the 360 has everything I need at the moment.
And I welcome all for an actual debate about it.

I don’t think it’s for the iPhone, mainly because putting up a teaser like this for MGS and then having the big release be Ac!d for iPhone, well it would be a big let down. If I HAD to guess, I would say it means the next Metal Gear game in the series, and maybe meaning it will be multi console.

i think i figured it all out. it not the 360.the i+i is a clear representation of the wii mote and that’s a fact because we have seen it before. now you may argue that the power button is similar to the 360.well if you check the wii mote power button it is exactly the same symbol.
if u look your ps3, the button on/off is exactly like that, when it turned on… so maybe is just another ps3 game… that’s all
Indeed, it does look like wii’s power button, but also ps3’s power button and tv’s power button. The symbol is the universal symbol for power.
Now, if we analyse it from another point of view, when joining the i with the !, the i turns to a circle, and the ! is connected to that circle.
Hey 360 owners, sorry to disappoint but I think that logo also belongs to PS3, Wii, my PC and other electronic applications.
Don’t you get it? That logo is THE UNIVERSAL SYMBOL.

People believe it means the 360 because of the colouring.
It a perfect world it would mean a 360 port, but I think it’s not
@ Wolfshock : Therefore in that perfect world of yours, Mr. kojima’s reputation AND credibility would fall down below absolute zero, after all the denials and inside jokes he made about the 360.
