I am drowning in video games right now. We got hit with so many titles going on sale at the same time, I haven’t given any of them the time they deserve. They’re ALL good games… But now, when I get my tiny windows of opportunity to play games, I just stare at the stack, wondering what the hell I should do next. I guess its a good problem to have, but I was hoping for a little help prioritizing my playtime.
Here are the games I have outstanding and the status. You tell me what order YOU would finish them in.
Currently I have these games.
- Fallout 3 (3 hours into it…)
- Fable 2 (about halfway done.)
- Far Cry 2 (43% complete)
- Gears 2 (JUST got underground… so barely started)
- Mirror’s Edge (Chapter 6)
- End War (haven’t even opened it)
How would you guys tackle these games. In what order and why?
Personally I am leaning towards a 2, 3, 5, 1, 4 because I’d like to finish the ones I am farthest along in first.. I am basically going to have to start over on Fallout 3 anyway since its been a while since I touched it.

do mirror’s edge first, beating it will take 2 hours, most
5,4,3,6,2,1.
Trust me.
id say fable 2 is prob the better one but it can take forever it depends on how many side quests you do
@Kiljoy agreed. Mirrors Edge, while fun, is rather short, so go for that first.
Other than that, I would suggest Gears 2 next, because it simply NEEDS to be played.
After that, its a toss up between Fable II and Fallout 3, but I would go for Fable II first since you’re already a good ways into it.
As for Far Cry 2 versus EndWar, I can’t say since I’ve haven’t played Far Cry yet, but since you are already a good ways into Far Cry, you might want to finish it.
EndWar, though a good and fresh IP has just gotten buried under everything else, despite initial enthusiasm pre-release. Hopefully it will find its audience after this madness has subsided.
Leave Far Cry 2 till last, that game takes forever.
@Kiljoy
I agree the game is short, but give it some credit, its longer then 2 hours…
You should finish Fallout 3 first and then send it to me. Thanks!
Honestly though I’d go for Fable 2 but if you’re trying to get 1000 achievements then I wouldn’t say Fable 2. I’m so torn.
If you’ve only got a half hour or an hour to play at a time, play Mirror’s Edge. You’re almost done anyways and it gives you a sense of exhilaration very quickly . Those other games require more time to settle into especially Fallout 3. Save that one for the cold winter months when you wanna get away from your in laws.
Mirrors Edge – wont take to long
Fable 2 – again dont leave unfisnished
games otherwize you forget the plot or you skill level drops below what is needed ect…
Fallout 3
Gears 2
Far Cry 2- takes agers as said
End War- start this game fresh when everything alse is done
my thoughts personly
@outcast 6:
I think kiljoy meant it’d take 2 hours from where doc is at now .
Anyways, i’d say get mirrors edge outta the way (just cos your so close to the end), then whatever you feel like.
I wouldn’t start end-war. it’d just add to the list of games incomplete. i’d just wait and play it after finishing most of the others :p
I say you ditch all of those games and play Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon.
Left4Dead, WaW, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Far Cry 2, Mirror’s Edge, EndWar, Gears 2.
i think it would be best to do mirrors edge then to go fable then far cry then gears then end war then finally fallout
I havnt even bought fallout
Im waiting for it during next summer when I will be in europe with no internet connection so it wont matter to play single player
I’m also torn between which to play first… fable 2 or fallout 3. Aside from Farcry 2, I’ve finished the others or am not interested.
This sort of dilemma is precisely why I buy a game, beat it, then buy the next. By that time, the next game will be on sale.
I’ve found the solution! Get rid of Far Cry 2. There, time saved for other GOOD games. Hell, if you burn it, you can compare real fire to the game’s.
5, 2, 3, 4, 6, 1
fallout is too long to do in between
I’d wrap up Mirrors Edge first, simply because you can beat it in a sitting and I’d leave Fallout 3 for last…you always save the best for last. Then just draw names out of a hat for the others.
Ha Ha Ha! wow is stupid he doesnt know wtf hes talkin about
Hey, I’ve got a quick question. When you beat Fable 2 can you do any of the quests you could before you beat the game, but you forgot to do?
