Harmonix… Rock Band 2… Oh, how I love thee. I know that I don’t give you the time you deserve, I know. I’ve been busy traveling and working on this website, when I should be playing with you. Sure, your DLC keeps me satisfied, somewhat, but I want more…
You know what would bring me back into your arms?
Pearl Jam. I want more Pearl Jam. Pretty please? Like mana from heaven, Spike’s VGA’s answered me… After the jump!
Look, I’m not even going to deny it. “Ten” is my favorite album and “Alive” is my favorite song. Ever. Pearl Jam is THE reason I was a music junkie in the 90’s and it opened my eyes to other types of music that helped pull me from my Guns and Roses/Ice Cube death spiral…but I digress.
Last night’s VGA awards announced what I’ve been needing: To coincide with the re-release of Pearl Jam’s epic first album, Ten, Harmonix is giving it the full DLC treatment…
F**k YEAH!
The only problem is that it’s not coming until March of 2009… Bummer. More on this as it develops.

I love this announcement, but it still doesn’t quite do it for me.
Honestly, I think I would pay $20 for a 3-pack of “State of Love and Trust,” “Better Man,” and “Animal.”
State of love and trust is on the Japaneese version of Ten…
I’ve been searching for that import for 15 years…
Nice!! We just had a Foo Fighter Jam session here on Saturday for my Spawn Day. Some PJ would have been great.
State of Love and Trust is also on the soundtrack for Singles BTW
Oh, I know…
OMG! Lono, Ten is my favorite album of all time. I honest to god cannot wait to play pretty much every song off that album. This will be the first album that I purchase the whole album for.
Ok I think we can all agree this Ten is on the Top 5 list of rock albums.
Pretty cool, but I would much rather have the DLC of the Unplugged, that live version of Black and Porch is epic, anybody that has watched it cannot disagree.
Shame I don’t have RB2
Yes!!! I won’t be able to put off Rock Bank any longer.
Harmonix did it again
I recently bought Ten, and it is a really good album. Even Flow is just an incredible song, and ironically I first heard it on Guitar Hero III >__>
