I want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible work done for Sarcastic Gamer by my Captain, your Captain, our Captain…. Captain DDL. Over the past year and a half DDL has been instrumental in developing and maintaing Sarcastic Gamer. Despite numerous server hops and lots of panicked phone calls from me, DDL has always kept a cool head and a can-do attitude. Sarcastic Gamer “needs him on that wall.”
What many of you might not know, is that DDL is a VERY ambitious young man. He’s currently putting himself through school, working, and working more. The amount of time necessary for this remarkable young man to chase his dreams makes it clear we can no longer be so demanding of his time. While DDL isn’t going anywhere, we do want to thank him for his hard work and dedication to this community, basically since inception.
DDL is so valuable that we had to go all the way to Poland to find a successor in the IT world. We found that guy in Regua. Regua is a long time moderator for the SGC, and has repeatedly proven himself. He’s done some design work for us as well including that wicked count UP total that we had for Extra Life. He also writes plugins for Wordpress and like DDL, isn’t afraid to tell me when I am screwing him up.
