Zombie Mode will be in Call of Duty World at War

This is no joke and I am now buying the game.  Gametrailers has released the latest Call of Duty World at War video featuring “Call of Duty: World at War will feature a “zombie mode” that’s unlocked once you complete the game. It’s a four-player co-op mode pitting you against endless waves of Nazi undead…The mode features its own economy in which things like buying weapons as well as making barricades and moving obstacles cost money.”

Wow a co-op zombie survival mode coming out almost two weeks before Left 4 Dead. Couple the Call of Duty news with the Zombie Uprising game in Saint’s Row 2, sprinkle on a bit of Left 4 Dead blockbusterness and it seems like this is the season of Zombies in video games.

I’m all for it.

    That’s pretty cool. It just jumped the game a little higher on my list. I’m not sure that it’s a “must buy” yet, but it definitely looks like fun.

    This just makes the game even better for me. I was going to buy it from the offset, but this just means that the game will have even more to offer.

    Four player co-op Nazi zombie annihilation with flamethrowers? Yes, please!

    @Pablos well I can get both but really I won’t play both now will I. I played the Cod5 beta I wasn’t that impressed but as it says it was a beta.

    But seriously it does seem like Left 4 Dead’s dropped off the radar. Even in the podcast somebody mentions it, and it’s followed by “Oh yeaaaahh…”. Wow SG 16 days before release and you’re not pimping a game you’ve been looking forward to for a year??? O.O
