It’s about time we got some US deals on here! After a huge amount of UK bias, the SG Bargain Hunter has finally crossed the Atlantic (Aer Lingus flight, Glasgow to Chicago, set him back a pretty penny) to get you some Yankee-doodle-dandy deals. That’s a terrible pun and I’ll never use it again.

If you’ve got a card ready, be ready to hop onto Amazon.com tonight, as they’ve got some serious PS3 deals lined up for their occasional Gold Box sale. Hit the jump for all the info.

On midnight on the 29th – that’d be the end of today, Pacific Time – the first, unknown deal will be available. The second bargain will become available at 6am, the third will hit at 10am, and the final two will launch at 2pm and 6pm respectively. That’s five lovely items ready to be bought, provided they’re any good.

Certain terms apply to these items though. The first item (the one available at midnight) will be available at the slashed price for the entire day or until supplies run out. The other four items are only available for four hours each, with each deal being replaced with the next one until the end of the day. That means that unless you buy it inside the 4 hours, you wont get it for the offer price, so choose your timing wisely.

The thing is, as with other Gold Box offers, we wont know what we’re getting until the item itself goes up on Amazon. Fingers crossed the stuff’s good though, but I have a feeling that the item going up for the full day wont be very good; expect Amazon to try and offload bulk copies of Lair come midnight Pacific Time.
