With all the hype surrounding this year’s biggest releases, from Fallout 3 to Dead Space, I thought I’d ask the Sarcastic Gamer Crew what they’re looking forward to this Holiday Season.
Doc’s desperate plea, Dave’s indecision, a surprise pick from Yousty and a not so surprising pick from Frawlz, after the jump.
Rothbart (Sack lover and community manager) :LittleBigPlanet - It’s fresh, new, and impressive on so many fronts. Sure, it’s “just a platformer” to some, but it’s also a creative outlet for people that will produce a never-ending stream of both novelty and really fun and impressive levels to play regardless of whether you opt to dabble in level creation or not.
Dave (indecisive podcast producer) Left 4 Dead… no Resistance 2…. no Fallout 3… no Gears 2. Damn, I can’t choose just one. They’re all going to be equally awesome, in their own ways. I think I’m addicted to the Apocalypse… Is that weird?
Yousty ( I have no idea who this guy is): Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts - Looking forward to seeing if this is an actual platformer, or just one big vehicle-creating suckfest. The good thing is, either way, I will still be able to play the original Banjo-Kazooie on XBLA.
Animathias (Ani-MAH-theigh-is): Call of Duty: World at War - Call of Duty 4 stripped of its modern weaponry with an assortment of vehicles added. I think going back to WWII weaponry will make the multiplayer that much more intense.

Well I being a Wii owner really don’t have much to anticipate for this holiday season…. BUT. Q1 of 09 is really shaping up to look like it will be the time for the Wii.
Sin and Punishment 2, Punchout, The Conduit, Mad World, and (hopefully) No More Heroes 2.

Yes, I have the disposable income to buy EVERY SINGLE ONE, and I will. Mostly because it’s all I have left.

@vgplayer36 there already is one pretty fun though.
I would have to say LBP & Resistance 2. But all the other huge releases I will be renting or buying.
