I’ve been thinking (makes a change. Waheey!) in the 4 seconds it’s taken me to click the ‘write new post’ button, why isn’t palindrome a palindrome? For those of you who have forgotten what a palindrome is, it’s a word or sentence that reads the same forwards as backward, such as SIXAXIS or this one that I wrote earlier*. In fact, why isn’t oxymoron oxymoronic, and why isn’t onomatopoeia onomatopoeic?
