After the overwhelming response to Rock Band 2’s 20 free songs announced earlier this week, EA is rolling out another 20, totally free!
“We never realized how popular these free songs from bands people had never heard of would be,” said an EA rep who spoke with us under the condition of anonymity. “So we’ve rounded up another 20 random songs from obscure bands as our way of saying “Thanks!”
Here’s the full track list:
- I Want More Peanut Butter On My Cracker - by The Peter Pans
- My Obama - by The Gnak
- Sundays in Cheboigan - by Greater Fishigan
- I Said Boo Motherf***r - by Angst on a Train
- Geebus I’m Tired - by the Insomniacs
- Palin on the Brain - by John and the McCains
- 100 years of misery - by Chitown Cubbies
- When’s Tomorrow? - by Lost My Planner
- Suffer like a French Fry - by Ferocious Ronald
- Hi Def Deficiency - by The We’s
- Out of Space - by The 360 All-Stars
- Still not here - by The LBP’s
- Still Hate It - by R-bart (featuring Oscar the Grouch)

- Pumpkin-Carving Posts - by Tokatu
- Lost Wages - by Gerts and The Man
- Broken - by The Fables
- Hype Machine - by Cliff’s White Teeth
- THE ENTIRE Vanessa Hudgens Album*
Something tells me this isn’t the last we’re going to see of the free tracks, even though it’s mostly the FIRST time we’ve ever heard of these bands. I love free things that I’ve never heard of… don’t you!
*Note -The entire album is listed as the 20th track because every song on her album sounds identical and as a result, can be categorized as one 27:38 minute long track.

Aw man…I love some of these songs, but the one I was really hoping for was a compilation of Wii Music hits, though I couldn’t expect Nintendo to just give away their fantastic melodies for nothing. It’s just that I know how popular the game is, and I wanted to rock out to those same songs with my friends on Rock Band.
