EA to donate $2000 in games to Extra Life

On Friday, Electronic Arts issued a challenge to our communities and the countless communities who have become involved in raising money for Extra Life.  The bottom line was every dollar you raised this past weekend would be matched by EA in the form of free games for the brave kids at Texas Children’s Cancer Center, up to $2000.

We really wanted to max this thing out, and get the full 2 grand.  Gamers from Belgium to Brooklyn went to work emailing their friends and families, asking for their support.  The result?

They succeeded.  We blew past the 2000 mark!  We’re getting the full 2,000 dollars-worth of video games from EA for the kids at TCH.

But you’re not off the hook just yet.  We’re asking you to give us 5 more days of solid pan-handling to your friends, coworkers, family and neighbors.  Extra Life starts at 9am (local time) on Saturday, and there’s still plenty of time to gather enough money to make a huge impact on the total.

If you’ve been procrastinating, NOW IS THE TIME.  Sign UpDonate.  Do something.  Please.

Extra Life is a 24-hour video game marathon to raise money and awareness to fight pediatric cancer.  Find out more at http://extralife.sarcasticgamer.com.
