Dead Space? Yes please!

Since I’ve still got another 3 chapters to go until I finish Dead Space, and the likelihood of that happening today is remote at best, I just wanted to throw out some intial impressions of the game, for those that might be considering picking it up when it releases on Tuesday.

It’s a sure thing.

Here’s a BRIEF overview of why I’m digging this game.

The game plays even better than I remembered it at E3 and PAX.  It’s story is very interesting, controls highly polished, NO camera issues that I have found yet, and it’s scary as hell.  From what I can tell I am about 75% finished and I’ve already got about 10 hours in the game.

Replay value of this single-player experience is boosted significantly by the array of weapons and upgrades available to you.  On a subsequent play-through your game experience and difficulty could be greatly altered by making alternate choices.

This one’s got my stamp of approval.
