CoD: WaW Has A Singles Mode?

October 14th, 2008 · 3 Comments

Are you lonely? Are you looking for that special someone(s) to get you through those lonely days/nights? If you also like online FPS, there’s good news, Treyarch has answered all of your prayers.

Let the mingling begin.

When you load the beta, you’ll be prompted to pick a game type to play. There’s War, Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch, Free for All, and Pick Up Team Deathmatch. War is like a blend of Domination and Head Quarters from CoD4. Capture the flag, Free for All, and Team Deathmatch are self explanatory. The final choice is basically Team Deathmatch without parties.

This allows you to mix it up with the other singles in the CoD world and make friends. Whether you are looking for love or friendship you can find it here. Can there be a better way to kick off a new relationship then coming together and slaughtering each other without consequences?

One problem… There are quite a few d-bags in the beta. I have never been called noob, or heard how great someone thinks they are, more in my entire life. Oh, and the non stop complaining about weapons, dogs, Juggeraught, and whatever else these d-bags can think of is non-stop.  However, don’t be discouraged by this, you have to be persistent.

Remember that the law of averages is that for every 10 people, you should like one of them. That’s nine left to kill!

Happy hunting.

I realized a long time ago that the mainstream COD crowd is the worst group on xbox live, besides maybe the Gears players.
How to keep it fun: play with friends, or without a headset. :)

Haven’t experienced too many d-bags myself but I’m sure it’s just a matter of time…
