A little over a week ago we asked the Sarcastic Gamer community to round up the infamous Jim Sterling from Destructoid, and convince him to join the Extra Life effort. At the time, Jim tipped his hat to the effort and said he would indeed participate, but in his own special way.

Today, Jim’s “way” was revealed.

In a post moments ago, Jim Sterling challenged his readers to sponsor him in Extra Life, a 24-hour video game marathon to raise money and awareness of pediatric cancer on October 18th.  In true Sterling form, he’s sacrificing his innards in the process.  Read all about it after a teenie tiny jump.
